Playing Audio Files

By default, LANNouncer can say text and can play an Alarm, a Siren, a Doorbell and a Chime.  For details, see the Commands page.

It can also play arbitrary MP3 files.  Premium users can select more files than non-premium, but basic users still can play some.

Note that playing these requires you reference the file number, as in “@#ALARM=FILE1”.

All audio playback is via “ALARM”, so in the above case that would play “Back In Black.”  To play “Who’s Behind The Door”, use “@#ALARM=FILE2”.

In addition, you can set audio volumes on the Settings screen:
